Hannes Appell started LONECLONE VFX as a brainstorming experiment in 2002 and after several successful recloning procedures it's more alive than ever in the year 2008 and beyond!
Infusing digital artistry with the perfection of digital cloning, LONECLONE delivers visual effects for feature films, TV projects, commercials, video or pc games.

Hannes Appell was born in Erlangen, Bavaria on July 11th 1979. After his abitur & alternative civilian service he worked for NBC Europe/GIGA GAMES in Düsseldorf. During his 3 years at the company, he worked as a games journalist, editor and as post-production/graphics artist for the company's On Air Promotion. Since 2003 he studies animation & visual effects at the Institute for Animation & Visual Effects of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
He currently is working on his diploma short, freelancing as a 3d artist and compositing guy and brooding over next-gen video game concepts.
